Our Club
Kilkenny Hockey Club has fifteen active teams in the Leinster League. The Men's firsts play Div 1A, and the seconds play in Div 3. The club enters the Irish Senior Cup, which is a national competition. It also enters the Railway Cup and the Minor Cup. To date, the club has won the Minor Cup 3 times in 10 years. 

The Women's first team plays in Div 1, the seconds are in Division 10 and the thirds are new to the Leinster league and compete in Division 11.   

There is an active Junior section, with 10 teams between boys and girls playing in Leinster.

Almost all our matches are on Saturdays from September to April. Our home matches are usually played on the Astro-turf pitch at Loreto Secondary school for the men and at Kilkenny College for the women and all junior teams.  Generally, our away games are against Dublin sides but, depending on the division we play in, there are matches in Navan, Gorey, Wicklow, and Naas.

We are looking for new members all the time.  You are welcome to come to training just to keep fit. Preseason for our Adult teams begins in August for the coming season.
